CrewPad is built for airline crew. These answers cover the questions we hear on the first bid.
What is a crashpad?
A house or room near a crew domicile where pilots and flight attendants rest between pairings. Not a hotel, not a long-term lease — a bed that understands a 04:30 show.
Hot bed vs cold bed?
A hot bed is a rotating rack: someone else may use it while you fly. A cold bed is dedicated and stays yours even on a trip. Cold costs more. Filter for either on Browse.
Does CrewPad take payment?
Yes. Crew pay for nights on Stripe from the listing. Hosts also pay a monthly listing plan on Stripe. Cards never touch CrewPad — checkout runs on Stripe’s page.
How do notifications work?
New host and renter messages land in your inbox. Turn on push in Settings to get a banner when the app is in the background. On iPhone, add CrewPad to your Home Screen first.
Apple, Android, and the webpage?
Same CrewPad. Install from Safari or Chrome (Add to Home Screen / Install app), or use the website on a laptop. Your account, favorites, listings, and messages follow you.
