Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Effective September 1, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and CrewPad (“we,” “us”) for use of mycrewpad.com and the CrewPad app.
1. What CrewPad is
CrewPad is an online marketplace that helps airline crew find crashpads and helps hosts advertise those pads. We list, message, and take host listing fees. We are not a landlord, hotel, broker, or party to any lodging, lease, or roommate arrangement. Rent, deposits, house rules, and keys are settled directly between crew and host.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to form a contract. Accounts are for people, not bots. You are responsible for the email and password on the account. Hosts must have the legal right to list the property.
3. Crew accounts
Browsing and messaging hosts is free. You agree to provide accurate airline and domicile information, treat houses and housemates with care, and not harass hosts. A message is not a reservation. A host accepting an inquiry only shares the street address so you can continue the conversation — it is not a lease.
4. Host accounts and listing fees
Hosts pay CrewPad a subscription to keep a pad on the board (Starter, Crew house, or Network). That fee is for listing, search placement, and messaging tools. It is not rent, a commission on nights, or a payment from crew. Listing fees are billed by Stripe and are generally non-refundable except as Stripe or the law requires. Cancel at period end from Host plans; the pad stays live until the period you already paid for, then it comes off the board.
You must keep photos, price, house rules, quiet hours, transportation, parking, and availability truthful. Hide the pad (“Not taking crew”) when no bed is open. Exact street address stays hidden until you accept a crew message.
5. Availability and “open bed”
Availability badges (Open now, Opens on a date, Full until a date) are provided by the host. CrewPad does not guarantee a bed will be free when you arrive. Always confirm with the host in Messages before you travel.
6. Payments between crew and host
CrewPad does not collect rent, deposits, or nightly rates. Do not send cash or gift cards to strangers. If a listing looks fake, use Report. We may remove listings and suspend accounts that take payment through CrewPad messages in a way that violates these terms or the law.
7. Reviews, blocks, and reports
Reviews must be based on a real stay or accepted inquiry. Do not post defamatory, discriminatory, or fake reviews. Blocking hides that person’s pads from your Browse. Reports go to the CrewPad operator. We may remove content or accounts that violate these terms, including unsafe listings, spam, and impersonation.
8. Your content
You keep the rights to photos and text you upload. You grant CrewPad a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and crop that content to operate the marketplace (cards, maps, search, and app stores). Do not upload photos you do not have the right to use, or images of people without permission.
9. Acceptable use
No scraping, no reverse engineering the service for a competing listing board, no malware, and no listings for property you do not control. No content that is illegal, sexually exploitative, or that targets minors. Crashpads are for adult crew rest — not parties, short-term tourist rentals, or unlicensed hotels where local law forbids them. You must follow local zoning, tax, and housing rules.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” We do not warrant that a host, pad, van, or bed is safe, available, licensed, or as described. We do not inspect properties. You use listings, maps, and messages at your own risk. To the fullest extent allowed by law, CrewPad is not liable for lost bags, missed trips, injury, property damage, or disputes between crew and hosts.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, CrewPad’s total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the listing fees you paid us in the three months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify CrewPad and its operators against claims arising from your listings, stay arrangements, photos, messages, or violation of these terms or the law.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we store. By using CrewPad you also agree to that policy.
14. Termination
You may close an account by writing support@mycrewpad.com. We may suspend or terminate access, including for unpaid host plans, fake listings, or abuse. Provisions that should survive (liability, indemnity, licenses already granted for operating the service) survive.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after a posted change is acceptance of the new terms. Material changes to host billing will be called out on Host plans.
16. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Hillsborough County, Florida have exclusive venue, except that CrewPad may seek injunctive relief anywhere. If a section is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms are the entire agreement for the service.
